JLT Battle of the Chefs – The Pizza Edition: Winner, winner, pizza dinner!
On Tuesday, 27th
March 2018, Own Café played host to JLT Dining’s first-ever Battle of the Chefs
event, which was all about pizza. Seven restaurants took up the challenge: Pitfire
Pizza, Wolf
& Friends Lounge, Nais
Italian Kitchen, Own
Café, Mambo
Pizza Gourmet, Rolando’s
Pizzeria, and Tashir
Pizza.
Following extensive
blind tasting by our expert
judges, the scores – based on taste, smell,
presentation, texture, consistency, and quality of the toppings – were tallied
and we had a winner: Congratulations to Pitfire
Pizza! The team at Pitfire walked away with
