Revealed: The three most popular entries in the “Best Brunch” and “Best Service” categories of the 2018 JLT Restaurant Awards
Online voting for the 2018 JLT Restaurant Awards closed on 31st October 2018 and over 9,000 JLT residents, office dwellers, and visitors voted for their favourite Jumeirah Lakes Towers restaurants, cafes, and bars.
In the run-up to the awards ceremony on the 26th November at Nara Pan-Asian Restaurant, we’ll reveal the finalists, category by category. Today, we’ll start with the “Best Brunch” and “Best Service” categories.
Our “Best Brunch” category covered more than just the traditional Friday brunches and encompassed a number of options that are simply good choices to hang out at and enjoy a combined breakfast and lunch – the original essence of a good brunch. Congratulations to Allons-Y, Friends' Avenue Cafe, and McGettigan’s JLT – they all made the shortlist in the “Best Brunch” category!

Just like last year, the “Best Service” category was one of the most popular categories and hotly contested. Congratulations to Ananda Bhavan, Bait Maryam, and Own Cafe – they all made the shortlist in the “Best Service” category!
