JLT Restaurant Awards 2018: Meet the finalists for the “Best Cafe” and “Best Chinese” categories
Revealed: The three most popular entries in the “Best Cafe” and “Best Chinese” categories of the 2018 JLT Restaurant Awards
Online voting for the 2018 JLT Restaurant Awards closed on 31st October 2018 and over 9,000 JLT residents, office dwellers, and visitors voted for their favourite Jumeirah Lakes Towers restaurants, cafes, and bars.
In the run-up to the awards ceremony on the 26th November at Nara Pan-Asian Restaurant, we’ll reveal the finalists, category by category. Today, we’ll reveal the “Best Bar” and “Best European (Licensed)” categories.
15 cafes competed in the “Best Cafe” category of the 2018 awards – like last year, one of the most popular categories and hotly competed. Congratulations to Own Cafe, La Cantina, and Favourite Choice – they all made the shortlist in the “Best Cafe” category!

Our “Best Chinese” category featured a mix of Asian restaurants and Indo-Chinese concepts and attracted a good number of votes. Congratulations to Asian Wok, Mughaliya Darbar, and Wokyo Noodle Bar – they all made the shortlist in the “Best Chinese” category!
