JLT Restaurant Awards 2019: Meet the finalists! (Part 4)
Revealed: The finalists for the Best South-East Asian, Best Sweet Tooth, and Best Hidden Gem categories in the #JLTdiningAwards2019
Online voting for the 2019 JLT Restaurant Awards closed on 31st October 2019 and over 15,000 JLT residents, office dwellers, and visitors voted for their favourite Jumeirah Lakes Towers restaurants, cafes, and bars.
In the run-up to the awards
ceremony on Monday, 25th November at
La Vue, Pullman Hotel JLT, we’ll reveal the finalists, category by category.
Today, we’ll reveal the “Best South-East Asian”, “Best Sweet Tooth”, and “Best Hidden
Gem” categories.
The “Best South-East
Asian” category had eight entries and received 469 valid votes.
Congratulations to Streetery, Little
Bangkok, and
Asian Wok – they all made the shortlist in the #BestSouthEastAsian
category!

The “Best Sweet Tooth” category is all about cakes, donuts, and desserts, and, this year, featured 10 entries, which attracted 470 valid votes. Congratulations to The Cake Lab, Il Donaccino, and La Cantina Café & Restaurant – they all made the shortlist in the #BestSweetTooth category!

Finally, our “Best Hidden Gem” category is based on the online votes for the top “Hidden Gems” suggested by our followers. You can find out more about this year’s search for hidden gems here. The top five most mentioned hidden gems made it into the online voting and the category attracted 360 votes. Congratulations to Beirut Bites, The Leisure Deck, and Exotica Restaurant – they all made the shortlist in the #BestHiddenGem category!
