Coming to JLT in October 2017: The first ever JLT Dining Restaurant Awards!

Here at JLT Dining, we’re all about great food and great restaurants in Jumeirah Lakes Towers. We’re the only dedicated JLT online directory for everything food-related, but we’re also super passionate about supporting the 200+ independent restaurants, cafes, and lounges and putting JLT firmly on the city’s “foodie map”.

We believe that there’s no area in Dubai like JLT when it comes to the sheer number of exciting food concepts and cuisines – there’s so much to discover! New restaurants and cafes are opening all the time and the restaurateurs are working extremely hard to bring you tasty food at excellent prices.

We thought about ways to further enhance the image of our foodie neighbourhood and decided that it’s time to launch the first ever JLT restaurants awards. The awards’ goal is reward hard work and culinary excellence, but also to generate publicity for the many outstanding food outlets in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

The inaugural JLT Dining Restaurant Awards will take place this October and we’ll soon be able to provide you with more info re. the exact date, timings, and the location.

Here’s what we can already divulge: The awards will be open to all JLT restaurants, cafes, and lounges with the exception of international fast food chains. There will be a number of different categories ranging from “Restaurant of the Year”, to “Best Newcomer”, and a number of cuisine-specific options, e.g. “Best Indian Restaurant”,  “Best Café/Bakery”, and “Best Pizza Parlour”.
