JLT Restaurant Awards 2017: Meet the finalists for the “Best Other” and “Best Sweet Tooth” categories!

Revealed: The three most popular entries in the “Best Other” and “Best Sweet Tooth” categories of the 2017 JLT Restaurant Awards

Online voting for the inaugural JLT Restaurant Awards closed on 31st October 2017 and over 7,000 JLT residents, office dwellers, and visitors voted for their favourite Jumeirah Lakes Towers restaurants, cafes, and bars.

In the run-up to the awards ceremony on the 27th November at the fabulous Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers, we’ll reveal the finalists, category by category. Today, we’ll bring you the shortlists for the final two publicly voted categories: "Best Other" and "Best Sweet Tooth".

Our "Best Other" category contained everything that didn't fit into any of the other boxes, e.g. cuisines that only have one or two restaurants in JLT. In the end, the finalists were: Congratulations to Ayubowan, Little Lahore, and Wolf & Friends Lounge!

The "Best Sweet Tooth" category in the JLT Restaurant Awards was for restaurants specialising in sweets, desserts, and cakes. The finalists were: Congratulations to Il Donaccino, La Cantina Cafe and Restaurant, and The Cake Lab!
