2017, 2018, 2019 – are you ready for the fourth edition of the JLT Dining Awards? The 2020 JLT Restaurants Awards are ON!

The #JLTdiningAwards2020 will build on the success of the past three events, but the underlying mission remains the same: 

The JLT Dining Awards aim to showcase the variety and quality of the eateries in Dubai’s favourite foodie neighbourhood: DMCC’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers – nowhere else in Dubai can you find this many different restaurants in one area. We want to recognise the passion, sweat, and efforts put in by the many independent restaurants in JLT and we’re also curious to see which restaurants are most popular among JLTians – residents, office workers, and visitors in JLT.

With over 300 independent restaurants, cafes, and bars spread across the various clusters, Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a foodie haven in the heart of new Dubai.

Just like in the past three years, the 2020 JLT Dining Awards will feature a mix of publicly-voted and judges-awarded categories. We’ll announce the full list of 2020 categories after Ramadan on the JLT Dining Blog.

The provisional timeline for the 2020 JLT Restaurant Awards:

August 2020	Nominations open. Restaurants can nominate themselves free of charge to take part in the 2020 JLT Dining Awards.
September 2020	Nominations will close on 30th September 2020 and we’ll publish the name of all participating restaurants on the JLT Dining Blog and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
October 2020	Online voting for the awards will be open from 1st – 31st October 2020.
November 2020	We’ll announce the finalists for all categories on the JLT Dining Blog. The Awards ceremony will take place on Monday, 23rd November 2020 in JLT.

The JLT Restaurant Awards are open to all restaurants, cafes, and bars located in JLT, with the exception of international fast food franchises. We don’t like plastic food. Restaurants do not pay to enter the JLT Dining Awards and the results are purely based on online voting and the expert advice of our independent judges. The voting and judging process is fully audited by an independent legal partner and JLT Dining/Strategic Partnership Solutions employees are forbidden from accepting “freebies” or other monetary or non-monetary rewards that could influence their decisions.
