LDC Kitchen + Coffee Celebrates the Season of Thanks and Turkey throughout November
Contemporary craft casual dining venue, LDC Kitchen + Coffee, brings new traditions whilst celebrating old ones this month at its outlet in ONE JLT. From Turkey takeaways and leftovers to an alternative Thanksgiving get-together and pizza trivia nights, LDC knows how to make November a month to be thankful for.
Gobble up a Delicious Thanksgiving Dinner: The LDC Thanksgiving Turkey to-go package tradition promises the holiday goodness and turkey coma of merriment without the mess! Let the expert team headed by Chef Omar Basiony take the stress out of cooking as they present a glistening, whole slow roasted Turkey that serves 6-8 guests. Priced at AED 650, the Turkey to-go is complete with trimmings including sourdough bread stuffing with sausage, mushrooms and caramelized onion, roast Brussel sprouts with veal bacon and crispy fried shallots, honey-glazed buttermilk biscuits and a rich and aromatic mélange of roasted baby carrots, parsnip, swede and beetroot with fresh thyme and butter. There’s also a generous serving of a rich turkey gravy with sautéed mushrooms and cranberry sauce with ginger and orange confit. LDC’s Moistmaker: Friends-Inspired Festive Sandwich The iconic Ross Geller sandwich has paved its way as a tradition at LDC Kitchen + Coffee and will once again be the star of the deli display from November 7th. Launched as a seasonal special, the delicious sandwich is not made from Rachel’s Thanksgiving trifle recipe but rather with generous turkey carvings, dollops of cranberry sauce, cabbage slaw and crispy shallots, layered with buttery mashed potatoes, sausage Stuffing and the rich silky gravy (‘The Moistmaker’), cushioned between freshly baked sourdough bread. Priced at AED 52, grab the limited-edition sandwich from 1st November to the 30th.
Pizza Trivia Night: Warm pizza on a cooler Autumn night is already tempting and LDC Kitchen + Coffee is about to make it more exciting! Kicking off on November 18, One JLT will be buzzin’ as LDC hosts its first Pizza Trivia Nights every Thursday from 7 p.m. onwards. Game fanatics can enjoy an amazing pizza combo inclusive of unlimited pizza and soft beverages for AED 65. Choose from homemade pizza favourites such as Margherita, Pepperoni, The Hot Chick, Burrata your Mind, and The Fun Guy. In Pie We Crust: Are you ready for to slice it up? Five iconic pies face off in LDC’s first ever Pielympics. One iconic pie will be highlighted every week starting November 21st and guests will be asked to vote for their favourite. A winner will be unveiled just in time for Christmas, and will be added to LDC’s delicious dessert line up! November 21st – Pumpkin Pie. November 28th – Pecan Pie. December 5th – Keylime Pie.
